Weekly Homework

Week of March 23 - March 27, 2020

Work this week is optional and encouraged! :)

Reading: Read for at least 10 - 20 minutes each night! Discuss what you read with someone at home to help you with comprehension.

​

Each week for Spelling: Starting next week, Spelling is done this way:

Study Spelling words on Monday and Tuesday (sentences, flashcards, spelling aloud, etc.; Rainbow words (3 colors) on Wednesday, Practice Test with Parent Initials on Thursday- the practice test should be corrected by an adult and students need to write incorrectly spelled words 3 times each. On Friday, have someone give you a Spelling Test. The Spelling words can be found below.

Each week for Math: Starting next week, Complete your Practice Book pages each night (see your newsletter). These pages can be found in the orange Practice Book that was sent home. Carefully tear out the pages for each night. You should also be practicing your Math Facts (addition and subtraction 1-12) with Reflex Math or flashcards, as much as possible, until they are mastered. 

​

Homework is due on Fridays. Please staple everything together and turn in on Friday morning.

​
